This training is aimed at engineers and provides practical knowledge in system management with Micro Focus Server Automation (SA).
This training is aimed at engineers who want to standardise the deployment and management of physical and virtual servers. With Micro Focus Server Automation (SA), participants will learn how to scale and automate server environments – from provisioning and patching to continuous compliance monitoring. Following an introduction to architecture, agent functionality, and device groups, participants will gain the fundamentals of the tool. The practical part will involve applying core functions such as Software Packages, Policies, Patch Management, and scripting with OGFS and ServerScripts. The training will be rounded off with practical scenarios such as audits and remediation, compliance checks, application configuration templates, and reporting, jobs, and sessions. Integration with Micro Focus Operations Orchestration will also be presented to enable end-to-end automation.
