The aim was to fully divest the company from existing group structures and seamlessly transfer it into the ICIG organisation.

Customer
ICIG Business Services GmbH is the central service and IT provider for the ICI Group. It supports its sister companies in operating their business processes efficiently, creates standardised and secure IT services for operational business, and provides central platforms, infrastructure services, and supportleistungen. A particular focus is placed on the provision of reliable, group-wide services – both in day-to-day business and during the integration of new companies.
The challenge
A key challenge was to consciously refrain from a simple transfer of existing systems and instead build a new, modern IT environment. At the same time, due to its strategic importance, international orientation and proximity to operational business, the project demanded a high degree of quality, stability and careful implementation.

Project CREDO demonstrates how a complex carve-out can not only be implemented smoothly but also used as an opportunity for sustainable modernisation. The results achieved underscore the success of the chosen approach – both technically and from the user's perspective.
