Mobile Testing with OpenText UFT Mobile
This training is aimed at test automation engineers and users who want to install a mobile test lab.
In this workshop, participants learn how to install, configure and integrate a mobile testing lab using OpenText UFT Mobile into existing testing frameworks. Both real devices and emulators are covered in order to develop, test and optimise mobile applications efficiently. In addition to an overview of functions such as remote screen and exploratory testing, technical fundamentals such as the installation environment (Windows & Linux), connectors, FQDN, ports and device connection are taught. The focus is on integration into OpenText UFT and the configuration of test devices. In hands-on exercises, participants create test scripts that are suitable for both desktop and mobile platforms. Additionally, features such as GPS, camera or network simulation as well as disturbance scenarios (e.g. calls or SMS) are covered to enable realistic testing.
