Learn how to get a better overview of the performance data of your applications.
Methodically plan performance tests, interpret performance metrics, and evaluate IT systems using analytical models.
Analytical methods for performance tests
The training is aimed at load and performance testers as well as performance engineers who want to deepen their methodological and analytical knowledge in performance testing.
This training provides a thorough understanding of the methodological and analytical foundations of performance tests. Participants learn about key performance metrics and basic principles, and explore the operational queuing theory. A focus is placed on the modeling of IT systems using queue models and queue networks. Fundamental assumptions as well as open and closed systems are considered. On this basis, participants learn to derive performance metrics, verify measurement data for plausibility, and interpret results in a structured manner. The operational fundamentals support the evaluation of system behavior, scaling limits, and optimization potential.
