Terraform Basics – Implementing Infrastructure as Code

This training is aimed at beginners who want to deploy their IT infrastructure automatically and codified using HashiCorp Terraform – in both private and public cloud environments. The goal is to understand and directly apply the principles of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a practical way. Participants will learn about Terraform's architecture and how it works, create their first configuration files, and implement concrete deployments. Topics such as Providers, Resources, Statefiles, Variables, Data Sources, Dynamic Blocks, and Provisioners will be covered in a practical manner. Furthermore, Modules, Workspaces, and Remote State Management, including Terraform Cloud, will be introduced to enable collaborative and scalable work. Practical exercises will accompany the training throughout, ensuring that infrastructure can be created, adapted, scaled, and cleanly removed – in a structured, reproducible, and efficient way.
