Backup Assessment

The backup assessment provides you with a reliable analysis of your existing backup and restore strategies as well as the technical backup infrastructure. The aim of the analysis is to identify strengths, risks and optimisation potential at an early stage and to present the results in a comprehensible report. In a guided workshop, your current backup processes, technologies used, storage and recovery mechanisms as well as organisational processes are surveyed and compared with best practice standards. The evaluation takes into account both internal backup processes and external requirements such as compliance or recovery SLAs. Based on the as-is analysis, you receive a management report that systematically describes your backup architecture, identified risks and weak points. This is supplemented by a backup score that makes the robustness of your backup strategy measurable. Prioritised recommendations for improvement - e.g. to ensure fast and complete restore capability, to create redundancy or to optimise backup intervals - round off the results. The analysis not only creates transparency about the current status, but also provides concrete starting points for a sustainable increase in the resilience of your backup strategies.
