- accompio GmbH has acquired 100% of the shares in r-tec IT Security GmbH as of August 14, 2024
- r-tec founder and managing director Dr. Stefan Rummenhöller, as well as managing directors Marek Stiefenhofer and Erward Arz will continue to run the company after the takeover
- Acquisition serves to expand accompio’s range of services, further develop and grow r-tec and leverage synergies

Einbeck, 04.09.2024. On August 14, 2024, the accompio group of companies acquired r-tec IT Security GmbH with locations in Wuppertal and Sofia. With the acquisition, r-tec takes on the leading role for cyber security within the IT group. Accompio is thus significantly expanding its range of services in the field of cyber security in order to meet the growing demands on the market due to the increasing number of cyber attacks and ever more complex threat scenarios. In future, customers will benefit from synergy effects through interdisciplinary exchange between the two companies and the bundled range of comprehensive IT solutions and services for cyber defense.
