• accompio GmbH has taken over 100% of the shares in r-tec IT Security GmbH as of 14 August 2024
• r-tec founder and managing director Dr. Stefan Rummenhöller, as well as managing directors Marek Stiefenhofer and Erward Arz, will continue to lead the company following the takeover.
• The acquisition serves to expand accompio's range of services, further develop and grow r-tec, and unlock synergies.
• The acquisition of r-tec by accompio GmbH is supported by EOS Partners, a private equity firm focused on mid-market companies.

Einbeck, 04 September 2024. The accompio group of companies has fully acquired r-tec IT Security GmbH, with locations in Wuppertal and Sofia, as of 14 August 2024. With this takeover, r-tec assumes the leading role for Cybersecurity within the IT group. Accompio is thus significantly expanding its range of services in the Cybersecurity sector to meet the growing demands in the market due to the increasing number of cyberattacks and ever more complex threat scenarios. Customers will benefit in the future from synergy effects through interdisciplinary exchange between both companies and the combined offering of comprehensive IT solutions and services for cyber defence.
