Strategic expansion of accompio's mid-market presence in Southern Germany by adding an established managed service and cybersecurity provider for regional small and medium-sized enterprises.
Einbeck / Lauchheim, 15 September 2026. The accompio Group completely acquired Fornax GmbH, based in Lauchheim, effective 1 September 2026. With this acquisition, accompio is expanding its presence in Southern Germany between Ansbach and Augsburg and broadening the group's range of services and expertise. Founded in 2008 and with 36 employees at its Lauchheim and Nördlingen sites, the company will in future be managed as part of the accompio MidMarket Business Unit. Managing directors Marko Bauer and Robert Weber are staying on board and will help shape its further development within the group.
Fornax specialises in supporting medium-sized enterprises with typically 20 to 150 workstations. Its clients come in particular from the utility and waste management sector, the construction and construction-related environment, as well as from care and social services.
