The IT service provider is consolidating its AI services in a new AI-as-a-Service portfolio, thereby expanding its offering for the structured use of artificial intelligence in companies.
Potsdam, 1 May 2026 IT service provider accompio is strengthening its AI offering and realigning its previous Core AI activities under the accompio AI brand. As part of this realignment, Core AI GmbH has been merged with Netz16 GmbH under the accompio umbrella from a legal entity perspective. In parallel, the company is consolidating its services into a new AI-as-a-Service portfolio, which supports organisations in the implementation and secure operation of AI applications. The offering is aimed equally at enterprise and SME customers.
Many companies recognise the potential of AI but face the challenge of identifying suitable use cases and integrating them securely into their existing IT landscape.

With the new portfolio, accompio is targeting companies that want to integrate AI into their business processes in a structured, secure, and compliance-compliant manner. The company is also organising the AI Revolution Day, where companies can learn about practical AI applications and cross-industry use cases.
The former Kern AI GmbH has been transferred to Netz16 GmbH (a subsidiary of accompio GmbH) as part of a corporate merger. AI services and offerings will henceforth be bundled and continued under the brand accompio AI within the accompio Group. Kern AI was founded in 2020 and acquired by the accompio Group in May 2025. The platform enables specialist departments to precisely supply Large Language Models with company knowledge and to build chatbots using a modular principle – from insurance tariffs to regulatory guidelines. Customers include Markel Insurance SE, HDI Global Specialty, and Nürnberger Versicherung, among others. The platform continues to support companies in the secure, efficient, and practical use of AI applications.
