Your responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform system installations, configurations, and updates for Red Hat systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure system stability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies on Red Hat systems.
• Ensure the security of the Red Hat environment by implementing best practices and performing regular audits.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Assist with the management of Windows servers and systems, performing tasks such as patch management, user administration, and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT projects and initiatives.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members and end-users.

Your profile

• Fluent in German and English.
• 3+ years of experience as a Red Hat Administrator/Engineer, managing RHEL environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including system installations, configurations, and performance tuning.
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Basic knowledge of Windows server administration tasks.
