UFT Mobile – Automated testing for mobile applications

In this workshop, participants will learn how to install, configure, and integrate a mobile testing laboratory with Micro Focus UFT Mobile into existing test frameworks. Both real devices and emulators will be considered to efficiently develop, test, and optimise mobile applications. In addition to an overview of features such as Remote Screen and exploratory testing, technical fundamentals such as installation environment (Windows & Linux), connectors, FQDN, ports, and device connectivity will be taught. The focus will be on integration into Micro Focus UFT and the configuration of test devices. Through practical exercises, participants will create test scripts suitable for both desktop and mobile platforms. Additionally, features such as GPS, camera, or network simulation, as well as fault scenarios (e.g., calls or SMS), will be covered to enable realistic testing.
